Retreat Catering by Vicky’s Kitchen

Food is never just fuel on a retreat. It shapes the energy in the room, the way people feel going into an afternoon session, the conversations that happen around a table. When it's right, it becomes part of what people remember. When it's an afterthought, they remember that too.

I cater retreats across Norwich, Norfolk, and East London — whole-food, plant-based meals cooked fresh, tailored to your group, with every dietary need handled so you can focus entirely on your programme.

I'm a yoga teacher as well as a caterer. I teach on catered retreats and run my own — which means I understand retreat food from the inside, not just from a catering brief. I know what people need after a two-hour morning practice, how a heavy lunch derails an afternoon, and what it means to hand the food off completely and trust that it'll be right.

That combination is rare. It means the food I prepare is designed around the rhythm of your retreat, not just the logistics of feeding a group.

Three ways to work together

I offer three catering tiers to suit different retreat formats, budgets, and levels of hands-on support. All tiers include fully allergen-labelled food cooked fresh in my kitchen.

Tier 1 — Collection From £10 per person/day

I prepare everything fresh in my kitchen and you collect at the agreed time. You handle serving and reheating at your venue. Everything arrives in eco-friendly disposable containers with full allergen labels.

Best for: one-pots, soups, dahls, stews, and room-temperature grazing spreads. Simple, hearty, nourishing food that travels well and reheats beautifully.

Tier 3 — Full Residential Service Bespoke pricing

I join you on site for the full duration of your retreat and handle everything food-related from first breakfast to final clear-down. You focus entirely on teaching. I handle the rest.

  • Self-service or simple hot breakfast
  • Nourishing, whole-food lunch
  • Light-yet-luxurious evening meal
  • Pudding each evening
  • Unlimited teas & infused water station
  • All dietary requirements managed throughout
  • Full allergen management and clear-down each day

What retreat organisers say

"Back in our normal yoga studio this morning after a successful retreat. We just want to say a big thank-you for your catering. The food was excellent, couldn't fault it, and there was plenty of positive feedback from the clients. I particularly liked all your pastry, and the salsa verde was superb. It was also so nice to have it in disposable cartons — made my life much simpler. We have booked the hall again for next summer and would like to book you again."

A repeat booking before the retreat is even over. That's the kind of feedback I aim for every time.

What to expect when you work with me

Every retreat brief is different. I'll ask about your schedule, your group size, dietary requirements, the kind of energy you want the food to support, and your budget. From there I put together a menu proposal that fits your retreat rather than a generic catering package.

All food is whole-ingredient, plant-based by default, with locally sourced additions available where it suits your group. Everything is fully allergen labelled — I take dietary management seriously and communicate clearly with you in advance so there are no surprises on the day.

I'm based in Norwich and regularly cater retreats across Norfolk and East London. For residential retreats further afield, accommodation is required — get in touch to discuss.
