About wholesale

A modest, high-quality food offer — without the kitchen overhead.

I'm Vicky, and I run Vicky's Kitchen in Norwich. If you're a café, deli, farm shop or community workspace wanting a quality food offer without the time, staffing or equipment to cook in-house, I can help.

I'm a one-woman kitchen making small-batch savoury dishes that arrive portioned, labelled and ready to serve. Everything is cooked from scratch, consistent week after week, and designed to make your life easier — not add to it.

Established — ongoing

The Soup

Portioned and labelled soup, delivered chilled and ready to freeze or heat. Small-batch, handmade cooking with a focus on flavour and consistency — savoury only, no sweets or bakes.

One soup, done properly

I make one wholesale soup — my signature Iraqi Lentil — and only that. Keeping to a single recipe means I can guarantee the same quality and reliability every week, rather than spreading myself thin across a menu.

Portioned & labelled
£3 / portion
Vac-packed
£3.50 / portion

Portioned and labelled is delivered in your containers. Vac-packed suits longer shelf life and neater stock handling. Prices reflect the true cost of small-batch, from-scratch production.

Ordering: small, regular or ad-hoc quantities, with most deliveries on Tuesdays. You simply freeze, heat and serve.

New — piloting to 5 businesses

The Salad

One freshly prepared, locally sourced salad each week, pre-packaged and ready to sell — a retail-ready product rather than an ingredient you build on. No menu to choose from: focusing on one recipe a week keeps quality high and costs low.

I'm currently taking expressions of interest from five Norwich independent businesses for this round. Once those spots are filled, it closes until the next one opens up.

Ready to talk wholesale?

Soup ordering is open now. Salad is currently a small pilot with five spots — either way, I'd love to hear from you.

Who it's for

Is this right for your business?

Cafés, delis, farm shops, community workspaces and independent food retailers across Norwich who want quality food without the kitchen overhead.

Why small-batch

Consistency over scale.

I keep wholesale partnerships intentionally small so I can maintain quality and personal service — you'll always be dealing with me directly, not an account manager.

I also spread my cafés out across the city rather than supplying several on the same street. Stocking Vicky's Kitchen gives you something genuinely your own in your part of Norwich, not a menu item your customers can pick up two doors down.

Logistics

Delivery, collection & payment

Most deliveries go out on Tuesday mornings across Norwich. If you'd prefer to collect, you're welcome to — collection gets a small discount.

I invoice weekly. For the first month I ask for payment upfront; once we've established a bit of trust, payment terms move to 7 days from invoice.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to commit to a regular order?

For soup, no — order small, regular or ad-hoc quantities. For salad, I'd ask for a minimum weekly commitment to keep supply predictable, but I'm always happy to talk it through if that doesn't quite suit you.

Portioned or vac-packed — what's the difference?

Portioned and labelled soup is delivered in your own containers, ready to freeze or heat. Vac-packed costs a little more but gives you longer shelf life and neater stock handling.

Can I choose the salad variant — vegan, chicken, or egg?

Yes. When you confirm your weekly salad order you can split your units across variants however suits your customers best.

Is there a volume discount on salad?

Not currently — the wholesale price is £5 flat. That's already built to give you a healthy margin, and keeping it simple means I can keep it consistent.

Do you deliver, or do I collect?

Both. I deliver Tuesday mornings across Norwich. Collection gets a small discount. We'll work out the details when I'm in touch.
